We’d like to share some thoughts with you and would love to hear from you too.

At Zwartkops Raceway, Laudium – this past Saturday, 9th August – Howard Blake stepped away from the wheel for the young and remarkable Jordan Sherratt to compete in his first Extreme Racing Festival. Sherratt’s debut race saw him fired-up in the driver’s seat of the newly branded Ctrlroom’s Wi-Fire Mini Cooper S, sponsored by both Blake and TDR Racing.

Sherratt, a local South African kart racing champion, 15 years of age, took an impressive win in the BMW CCG Club Racing Series, Invitational Challenge and a 6th place overall in Class B – completing 16 laps of a total 14.4kms in 20:41.042. Johan Dreyer took first place within the class, racing his BMW E46 with a total time of 20:17:023.

While excelling at Glenwood High School, Sherratt began karting when he was 5 years old and has since competed in karting world championships in New Orleans, 2013 and twice in Italy during the year 2010. With Jordan’s exceptional talent and passion, he will no doubt soon be racing to his Formula 1 dream.  Aren’t there other similar famous stories by drivers with names such as Schumacher and Hamilton?

We look forward to viewing the future winning ways of Ctrlroom’s Wi-Fire.

Don’t miss Sherratt’s interview on Ignition TV, 1st September, 2014.
